Growing up, my mom would take my brother and I to graveyards and imagine the lives and deaths of people interred there.  As an adult, I've found myself drawn to graveyards and realised that I've inherited my mother's fascination with the silent residents there, and the spaces that the living curate for them.  I've been to graveyards in places as far-flung as Hawai'i, Iceland, and Turkey, and have loved discovering the different ways we maintain the resting places of the dead.
